is proud to honor Professor Sanford M. Jaffe as a "Legend of ADR" in
recognition of his exceptional vision as a pathfinder in the field of
conflict resolution, and in recognition of his achievements, which have
served to promote and advance the development of conflict resolution
in New Jersey, and in acknowledgment of his unique leadership and service
to the courts, the bar and the residents of the state of New Jersey in
the field of conflict resolution.
Welcome to the Web site for the Center for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (CNCR). The Center is part of the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, located at Civic Square, New Brunswick, New Jersey. The Center became formally associated with the School in the Spring of 1993, when the School was launched at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The Center assists the School in carrying out its mission, which is fourfold:
CNCR facilitates and catalyzes interdisciplinary activities, both in research and practice. CNCR staff facilitate complex public policy and planning collaborations and mediate disputes in these domains.
