Allison Harris is second-year political science doctoral student specializing in American and comparative politics. She has a background in policy analysis, public policy consulting, and political science. She has experience working for and with public and nonprofit organizations and spent two years working in finance with Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining IRCT, Ms. Harris worked in Georgia as a policy analyst for the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget, and most recently as a public policy consultant with The Estis Group. As a public policy consultant with The Estis Group, Ms. Harris provided management-consulting services to public managers in state agencies.
Ms. Harris has been with IRCT for two years. She has participated in a variety of projects in the areas of disaster recovery in the Gulf South and community economic development. Ms. Harris holds a master of public policy degree from the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and a bachelor of arts degree in urban studies from Brown University.
