Public Policy Internships

Students may take a for-credit internship to gain experience in the practical world of politics and public policy and integrate classroom learning with the challenges of the profession. Students in the M.P.A.P. program usually take the internship in the spring semester, spending 8-10 hours per week at the internship and preparing a policy paper under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Students in the M.P.P. program will take the internship (applied field experience) during the summer between their two academic years.
