Greetings from the planning program at Rutgers. Planning is an exciting field and Rutgers is one of the best places in the world to study it. Our accredited planning program has been awarding professional master's degrees for more than thirty years, and our graduates populate the top ranks of planning directors, consultants, public officials, professors, lawyers, and business professionals worldwide. Our faculty has special strengths in environmental and physical planning, housing and real estate, regional planning and international development, transportation policy and planning, and urban and community development, as well as the spectrum of advanced planning methods. Our location on the northeast corridor between New York and Philadelphia puts us in the heart of the action. And this year, like previous years, 80 percent of our M.C.R.P. students received some form of program financial support.
