Flood Pictures

Hurricane Floyd caused the Raritan River to flood in September 1999.  The flood inundated parts of New Brunswick and neighboring towns.  This showed very clearly what happens when planners allow building in the flood plain. Here are some before/after pictures that have been translated into various animated formats.  Original photos were taken by Clinton Andrews, and Eric Powers turned them into web animations.
