
Student Paper Competition
Abstracts submitted for this competition will be reviewed and evaluated by a committee from SSIT with the top 3 receiving invitations to present their papers at a special session at the conference. Travel, registration, and lodging expenses will be paid by the conference for the 3 presenters. It is anticipated that approximately $700 for each presenter will be available to cover these expenses.

Gold Member Travel Assistance
IEEE members who qualify as GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) members are eligible to apply for travel assistance to this conference. Gold members are those who have received their first professional degree in EE, CS, or a related field during the last 10 years and who are currently working in engineering or a closely related field. Applicants must present proof of IEEE membership and GOLD member qualification, and applications must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from your supervisor or faculty advisor. Preference will be given to women applicants and those living outside a 200 mile radius of the New Brunswick area. Those awarded travel assistance will be reimbursed for actual out-of-pocket travel expenses (note: meals not included), conference registration fees, and lodging at the conference hotel or an approved alternate, up to a maximum of $1000.
