Learn how to formulate and carry out economic development plans for your municipality at the "Economic Development Workshop" on September 12, 2008.

The intensive, practical, and interactive one-day workshop is designed for elected officials, economic development and redevelopment officers, professional planners, planning and zoning board members, real estate developers, and others involved in job creation and improving the quality of life in New Jersey communities.

The registration fee is $75. Registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks.

Registrants will receive copies of An Economic Development Toolbox: Strategies and Methods, Planning Advisory Service Report No. 541 (American Planning Association, 2006) by Terry Moore, Stuart Meck, and James Ebenhoh; Building Economic Development at the Local Level—A Municipal Primer, 4th edition (New Jersey League of Municipalities Economic Development Task Force, June 2008); and faculty PowerPoints and handouts.
