Best Overall: Princeton Township
Princeton Township is recognized with the Best Overall entry for the quality of its public information program, which includes a newsletter, recreation catalog, cable TV slide show, and web site. The township newsletter is mailed to residents, businesses, and other interested parties. The recreation bulletin is mailed to homes in Princeton Township and Princeton Borough, and available at municipal buildings, the library, and the senior center. The cable TV slide show is available 24 hours per day, seven days a week. The township’s web site is regularly updated.
Best Web: Freehold Township
Freehold Township is recognized with the Best Web entry based on its web site’s excellent navigation and the enormous amount of information citizens can find on the site.
Best Special/Innovative: Galloway Township
Galloway Township is recognized as the Best Special/Innovative entry for its recycling campaign. The recycling information is innovative in that it goes beyond newsletters and web sites. The campaign includes a multi-facetted marketing approach that targets and tailors its recycling communications to different (and specific) audiences. The campaign enlists members from 75 different nonprofit organizations.

The “2006-2007 Calendar” is recognized for the quality of its design, layout and photographs.
