The Municipal Public Information Contest was established to encourage municipal governments to develop or improve their public information programs. The sponsors
of the contest hope to promote the use of effective information techniques that explain the complexities of modern municipal government.

This year's contest
winners were announced at the annual New Jersey State League of Municipalities Conference in Atlantic City.
