Purpose: To educate children with autism using the best of current
methods. To train parents in the skills necessary for home management of
their child with autism. This includes regular home visits by the staff.
To teach graduate and undergraduate students working at the center the
most advanced procedures known for the treatment of autism. To advance
contemporary knowledge about the treatment and etiology of autism. To educate
the general public and serve as a demonstration facility for the treatment
of autism.

Eligibility Restrictions for Services: Children must have one of
a variety of diagnoses, including autism and pervasive developmental disorders.
Do not accept children whose primary diagnosis is mental retardation.
