CUPR
Press has published work by scholars and practitioners in urban planning, community
and economic development, transportation, public policy and related fields.
Praised as the "press of record" in these fields, CUPR has published continuously
since 1969. Books and monographs published by CUPR Press serve planning
professionals and academics and are widely adopted as texts in colleges
and universities throughout the United States and abroad. Several titles
have received special recognition: The Subdivision and Site Plan
Handbook was named a "Planner's Library 'Great Book'" by the American
Planning Association; Competitive Manufacturing and Households
and Housing were selected as "Outstanding Academic Books" by Choice
magazine. The Press has published more than 150 titles and mails semiannual
catalogs to 60,000 readers. In addition to books and monographs, the Press
publishes the CUPR Working Papers series, CUPR Policy Reports, and CUPReport,
a nationally acclaimed newsletter for the planning and economic development
communities mailed as a public service to 11,000 readers twice a year.
