A survey done by the NEC Housing Subcommittee identified more than 700 units of new affordable housing in the production pipeline scheduled for completion in West Side Park in the next three years. While non-profit housing developers are changing the face of housing supply in West Side Park, finding qualified buyers and renters remains an on-going problem. RCOPC created a Directory of Newark Homeownership Counseling Providers which is available to housing providers as well as homebuyers and tenants of West Side Park. The Directory includes the type of counseling, geographic area served, client restrictions, hours of operation and contact information.
