RCOPC works in partnership with a number of Rutgers University research centers, institutes, and academic departments drawing expertise on a variety of issues:

The Center for Urban Policy Research (CUPR)

A leader for thirty years in the field of urban policy research, outreach, and implementation. CUPR received the “Outstanding Comprehensive Planning Award” from the American Planning Association in 1997 for its comprehensive plan for the West Side Park Community, the target area for this RCOPC project

Project Community

A unit of CUPR, provides outreach, training, and technical assistance to community-based organizations throughout the New York/New Jersey metropolitan region.

Community Development Institute (CDI)
http://policy.rutgers.edu/cupr/cdi/index.html
A unit of CUPR, offers community development education and training, internships, mentoring, job placement, technical assistance, applied research and public policy forums.

Vorhees Transportation Policy Institute (TPI)
http://policy.rutgers.edu:16080/tpi/
Conducts research on transportation, hosts public policy forums, and presents data and public policy analysis to support informed policy choices by voters and public officials.
