Profile
Ashley Conway joined the Bloustein School as an Instructor in September 2012 after a long career in public health and public service. With a nursing specialty in HIV/AIDS and expertise in workforce issues, most recently she directed the New Jersey State Employment and Training Commission’s Health Care Workforce Development program and prior to that served as the Director of the Disease Surveillance and Response Division for Calvert County Maryland.
Ms.
Conway earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Washtenaw Community College in Michigan, a BA in Labor Studies/Adult Education from the National Labor College and a Masters in Organization Development and Change from American University. Prior to becoming a nurse she worked in non-traditional occupations for women, including a Corrections Officer in a men’s maximum security prison and a trainer and driver for a city bus system. Her diverse work experience led to a special interest in how people communicate both within and between organizations.
