Leadership is essential to policy development. Developing informed individuals who are committed to public service has been a hallmark of NJPPRI. The organization has hosted Leadership Seminars designed to help talented leaders explore and participate in the public decision-making process. The Seminars are also designed to examine and wrestle with complex questions such as the role of race in contemporary politics and policymaking. Many of our seminar participants have gone on to serve in high-level appointments in public agencies and to hold elected office.
Additionally, there are existing organizations dedicated to leadership development in New Jersey. NJPPRI works with a number of leadership development organizations to support their important work. NJPPRI's goal is to play a central role in developing future leaders for the State of New Jersey and the nation. The following are leadership development organizations that we collaborate with:
