By Train, Foot or Bicycle
The New Brunswick train station, which is served by NJ TRANSIT
and Amtrak, is about an hour from New York City and Philadelphia.
The Bloustein School is approximately five minutes walking
distance from the station. Cross Albany St. (Route 27) and
turn left. Walk a block and a half to George St. Turn right
onto George St. and walk four blocks to Livingston Ave. Turn
right onto Livingston Ave. The Bloustein School is at the
corner of Livingston and New St.
Construction Alert
The second phase of Route 18 construction is slated to begin
mid-February 2006. In consideration of anticipated exit ramp
closures at New Street and Commercial Avenue, the driving
directions listed below reflect alternative access routes
to the Bloustein School. For additional information, see the

From New Jersey Turnpike (North or South)
Take Exit 9 to Route 18 North. Take the first exit for
George Street (Cook/ Douglass Campus), which is after the
traffic light at Paulus Boulevard. Follow George Street to
the second traffic light. Turn left on Nichol Avenue. Go one
block and turn right onto Suydam Street. Go six blocks to
the intersection of Livingston Avenue. Turn right into Livingston
Avenue; the Bloustein School is six blocks ahead on your left
at the intersection of Livingston Avenue and New Street.
From Garden State Parkway (Southbound, coming from Northern
New Jersey)
Take Exit 129 to the New Jersey Turnpike South. Take Exit
9 for Route 18 North and follow the Turnpike directions above.
From Garden State Parkway (Northbound, coming from Southern
New Jersey)
Take Exit 105 to Route 18 North and follow the directions
listed above.
From Route 1 (North or South)
Take Route 1 to the intersection of Route 18 and take
the exit for Route 18 North. Follow the directions listed
above.
From I-287 (North or South)
Take Exit 10 to Easton Avenue (New Brunswick). Proceed
on Easton Avenue for approximately 7 miles until it ends at
Albany Street (at the New Brunswick train station). Turn left
onto Albany Street; go a block and a half to George Street.
Turn right at George Street and go four blocks to Livingston
Avenue. Turn right onto Livingston Avenue; the Bloustein School
will be on your right at the next intersection, the corner
of Livingston Avenue and New Street.
Bicycle parking is available in the front
and back of the Bloustein School.
